Welcome to 7^th grade life science.   

My goal is to offer you the most up to date, exciting, interesting, and hands-on program possible.  We will be using FOSS (Full Option Science System) and some of my own material.  The focus will be life science.  The program is laboratory based in which you learn by doing.  The activities stress thinking skills and processes of problem solving.  Classroom activities will include labs, classroom discussions, and reading non-fiction text such as science textbooks, books, newspaper articles, and Internet sources.  Also, you will be assigned projects that focus on science topics and current events.  The classroom activities will build your skills in science, mathematics, language arts, and computers.
