Mrs. Neal graduated from Michigan State University with a
Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Psychology, and spent 6 years in Maui
Hawaii studying dolphins and humpback whales. She received her Masters
in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix and has four years
experience teaching science. Mrs. Neal lives in South Whidbey with her
husband, two dogs, and a cat. Her extracurricular activities include
boating, diving, hiking, gardening, yoga, and reading. The science curriculum will consist of earth and physical science. Students will study the following themes: landforms & Earth history, weather & water, environmental science, and motion & forces. Students will be involved in many hands-on activities designed to help them develop science skills, learn processes, and concepts outlined in the state's Science Essential Learning Requirements. Students will take advantage of our vast technology resources to further their exploration of each subject. |
