As the Explorer Team Teachers we would like to welcome you to our team!  Our goal is to work with you to ensure a successful academic year.  As a team of teachers we work together on a daily basis to provide a consistent atmosphere regarding classroom expectations and in making connections between various subject areas.  We communicate daily in our team planning time about what we are doing within our individual classrooms and work to build a sense of belonging with the student team members.

We feel strongly that one of the key ingredients for a student's success in the middle school is consistent communication.  This enables us to recognize and share successes and to brainstorm possible strategies when problems or issues arise. Whenever you have comments or questions, please mention them to us, make an appointment for a team conference, write us a note,
e-mail us, or call us.  Communication will help all of us have the best year possible.

Our personal planning times are from 1:45-2:30 daily.  We are also available before and after school.

Homework Hotline is a phone service offered to the students at North Whidbey Middle School.  Although it is helpful, it is merely an aide for parents and students.  The first point of reference for team homework is your student's daily planner. You may access Homework Hotline at 279-5988 and the team extension is 8001.  This is updated by 4:00 p.m. every school day.
